Data space offerings#

Part of the LDT Governance and Trust Framework — instantiates the iSHARE Data Space Template block Data space offerings (© iSHARE Foundation, see Legal notices).

Purpose#

Offerings are how value is created and exchanged: structured bundles of data, metadata and usage terms, designed to be discoverable, reusable and valuable across use cases.

LDT instantiation — where we stand#

  • Candidate initial data products: LEZ mobility & air-quality feeds (Cartagena), PED energy balances & flexibility (Almelo/Aadorp, ESSIM/DEMkit outputs), airport operational flows (Aruba), port logistics events (Hamburg), CO₂/emission datasets and derived indicators (LogiNex).
  • Every offering carries: DCAT-AP description + usage terms from the iSHARE Licence Catalog (licenses.ishare.eu — binding artefact, not paraphrased) + an ODRL policy making the terms machine-enforceable.
  • Access tiers foreseen: open (public dashboards), restricted (consortium/use-case participants), commercial (Marketplace of the EU LDT Toolbox).

🧩 Building block requested — Owner: Nunsys + LogiNex + both cities#

What we need: the initial offerings catalogue: per data product — source, update frequency, quality level, licence tier (open/restricted/commercial), and any Green-Deal descriptors (CO₂ footprint, energy efficiency). LogiNex: CO₂ methodology note per carbon product.

Guiding questions#

All 22 of the template's questions for this block, with the 7 LDT answer slots to fill, are on data-space-offerings/guiding-questions.md. The digest below is the subset that most shapes this block.

  • What key data assets will be initially offered, and how are they standardised, validated and kept aligned with participant needs?
  • Under which licence models will data be provided; are there usage restrictions or access tiers?
  • Which associated services are critical to the initial use cases, and how are compliance and consent technically enforced?
  • Which external EU registries and frameworks should be integrated?

PD4 mapping#
